A proud member of

Wrap Around Care

At Normanton Common, we believe breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and our Breakfast Club gives children the best start to the day. We also believe that after-school clubs are a fundamental part of the school day and of our wider curriculum offer.

Breakfast Club runs every day of the school year from 7:45am – 8:50am, and offers flexibility to parents to support with employment, childcare and at a very competitive rate. Breakfast Club is run and managed by a dedicated team of staff, who also support children in school during the day in a different capacity, so there is always a familiar adult waiting to greet children with a smile.

We are proud of our ever growing after-school club offer, offering on average 2 clubs every week. After-schools clubs not only give children the opportunity to develop a new passion or skill or provide exit routes for progression, but give children the chance to work with a range of different children and staff.

Starting 13th April 2026, we will be launching a daily after-school wraparound care service during term time for pupils in Years 1 to 6.  Sessions will run from 3:20pm to 5:00pm and from 3:20pm to 5:45pm. Children will take part in a variety of engaging, age-appropriate activities in a safe and supportive setting, supervised by our trusted school staff. Full details can be found on our Policy Page, and bookings must be made in advance via the MCAS app.

If you’d like to know anything else about our wrap around care, please speak to the school office.

Feedback

Feedback

We are always looking for ways to further improve our offer, so if you have any links or think there is something else we could run, please let us know. For example, it was fed back that our community wanted more clubs for FS2, so in the summer term we opened up more clubs to our youngest children!

How To Book

Booking onto after-school and breakfast clubs is easy. All bookings can be made within a few taps, using our My Child at School app. Clubs are live to allow all parents the opportunity to sign their children up.
